Mid Rehearsal Update

With the way rehearsals are scheduled, this is as close to the middle as we can get really even if that is a slightly off balance set of clips vs images.

The staging wobble that was bubbling under the surface has come to pass for Sweden with a now undeniable step backwards from Melodifestivalen. Yes, size does matter unfortunately but the impact of a less epic staging is hard to quantify, on all three of the juries, first time viewers and those who've given ‘Tattoo’ it’s lead in most metrics. My opinion would be Loreen holds on similar to Netta and Duncan Laurence.

Finland have closed the gap significantly without really doing much themselves, showing up like most with their national final concept scaled up and refined. The momentum is on his side but none of the jury concerns are or could ever be solved.

France have certainly brought some striking imagery and are a justified 3rd favourite in the market (considering their statistics in the main) seeing their odds come in once more as we await proper footage. The rest of the field with the exception of Ukraine and Italy has seen a drift as the market settles. I wouldn't say anyone of relevance to the outright has particularly underperformed but there is a consensus growing around the top 3 in particular.
